Gold Medals for HSS Exceeds Target

Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Regent H Achmad Fikry together with the South Hulu Sungai branch of National Sports Committee (KONI) distributed bonuses for athletes, as well as evaluating and celebrating the district contingent of tenth Provincial Sports Week (Porprov).

Chairman of KONI-HSS Zainal Abidin in Kandangan, Saturday (6/1) said the acquisition of gold in 2017 Porprov in Tanjung, Tabalong District, exceeded the predetermined target.

"In ninth Porprov in Banjar District, only 3 sports won gold medals but increased to 12 sports in tenth Porprov Tabalong. Total gold was 17, bronze 21, and total silver 33," he said.

Regent H Achmad Fikry said the athlete performance improvement strategy had to be set up an for the next four years in order to achieve better performance.
