Banjarmasin still on top position

Tabalong, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The contingent of Banjarmasin still occupies the top position in the tenth South Kalimantan Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) by winning 10 gold medals, seven silvers and nine bronzes.

     

Tapin district comes afterward with seven golds, three silvers, and nine bronzes. While the host of Tabalong is ranked sixth with three golds, four silvers, and seven bronzes.

The gold medal contributor for Tabalong one of whom is the gymnastic athlete who also contributed one silver medal in the artistic number, Noviatul Nuraini.

     

Vice Chairman of the Tabalong branch of National Sports Committee (KONI) Syam Indra Permana said as many as 13 sports are contested earlier in the tenth Porprov.

"13 sports are contested before the opening of the tenth Poprov scheduled for October 8, 2017," said Sham in Tanjung on Wednesday.

Even the wrestling competition that participated by 235 athletes from 13 districts and cities across South Kalimantan has finished since October 2.

Other sports began competition since October 3 are rowing on Lake ATA, Kasiau Village, Murung Pudak Sub-district, and football in Hikun Field, Tanjung Sub-district.

Similarly, billiard sports, karate, pencak silat, futsal, yudo and field tennis are scheduled to be played before the official opening of the game.
