Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Directorate of Drugs Investigation Police together with Banjarmasin City Police and the Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP) here found 600,000 Dextro pills sent via the Lintas Jawa courier service.


"Initially the information received by police was a shipment of G-class drug type of Zenith or Carnophen, but when open it was Dextro quite a lot, six koli or 600 bottles and each bottle containing one thousand pills," said South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana in Banjarmasin, Thursday.

Previously, he said, the joint officers agreedto monitor the goods. However, after a long wait no one even took it in the warehouse of Lintas Jawa on Jalan Yos Sudarso, West Banjarmasin.

"Alhamdulillah the owner of the expedition is quite cooperative by assisting the monitoring until finally the goods decided to be dismantled," said Rachmat.

Although the main target was Zenith, but Dextro shipment successfully thwarted also appreciated. Dextro is just as dangerous as Zenith, it's just a lower dose.

"With this finding, we managed to save 60 thousand abusers with the assumption one person consumes 10 Dextro to get drunk," he said.

In addition to Dextro drugs, in one same delivery also found cigarettes with a suspected fake duty of 60 koli or 48 thousand packs of Naxan Menthol and Supra Mild brands.

Then one koli or 700 thousand pills of G-class drug Trihexyphenidyl and cosmetics products Qianyan allegedly fake and no license from BPOM which amounted of four koli or 20 boxes.

Police chief ordered his staff to trace the sender or the recipient of the goods so as to trap the perpetrator into a suspect.

"Do not let us only find, but can not reveal the culprit. So it should be traced to the origin of delivery in Surabaya which is written on the shipping receipt of PT Sejahtera," he said.

Meanwhile, the owner of Lintas Jawa Group Saut Nathan Samosir who witnessed the demolition fully supported the eradication of drugs conducted by the Police and BNNP South Kalimantan.

"If there is any suspected goods, we will report it immediately and as it is known that the forbidden goods sent are always without recipient address, so the person will then take them to the warehouse," he said.
