Dirt bike rider Michael Walkner from Austria dominated the enduro international class to win the Uncle Hard Enduro (UHE) 2024 at Kiram Park attraction, Banjar District, South Kalimantan, Sunday.
Michael Walkner emerged as the champion after completed eight rounds in the preliminary on Saturday (August 10, 2024) and eight rounds along five kilometers track in the final (Sunday) defeating 21 other riders from 11 countries.
“I am happy to be able to win UHE 2024. I hope to be back next year, because the race track at Kiram Park is very challanging,” he said after finishing final rounds.
Meanwhile, Mario Roman from Spain won the second place, while the former Enduro world champion Graham Jarvis from England won third.

Two other international class category, Power to Power and Race Prolog won by Mario Roman and the second winner Alfredo Gomez also from Spain, and the third winner was the Austrian rider Michael Walkner.
South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor symbolically handed over a total hundreds of million rupiah prizes and trophies to the international class winners.
He said UHE event is an effort to introduces South Kalimantan to foreign countries about its various potentials, from tourism, culinary, but especially to hone the skill and talents of young local and national motor riders.
“I congratulate all winners of each class and category. I am grateful that this event was carried out successfully,” said Sahbirin.
In addition to championship class, UHE 2024 also held fun adventure class attended by more than 1,000 young riders from various provinces in Indonesia. They circled 55 kilometers route to be introduced to the charm and natural beauty of Kiram Park which the Governor designated as a priority tourist attraction and is part of Meratus Geopark currently being proposed to the UNESCO to become Global Geopark.
