Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Government will evaluate its boundary with Banjar and Barito Kuala district.

Board of Governance Head Iwan Ristianto at City Hall on Friday said the talks related to the evaluation of boundaries so far is only internally of the municipality.

"We talk about it internally first, then we coordinate with the provincial government and Banjar Regency and Barito Kuala," he said.

For the city government, said Iwan, the boundary area is worth corrected its coordinate point as population growth continues rapidly in the border makes it so vague.

According to him, as it did the monitoring of its border with Banjar at southern Banjarmasin exactly on Jalan Gerilya in Tanjung Pagar and Pamangkih Laut sub-distrik boundary markers are shifting.

"Poles allegedly slightly shifted to the district of Banjar, even about 100 meters, hence the need to re-point coordinates," said Iwan.

It is indeed necessary to be wisely addressed, he said, because the precise coordinates of the border could have been entered in the two regions. This is due to increasing housing density of population in the border area.

It also highlighted the city government, said Iwan, rlated to the fulfillment of green open space (RTH), where Banjarmasin constrained by the land area of approximately 98.46 km.

He admitted that the city government expects Pulau Kembang which is now in Barito Kuala area later became part of the City of Banjarmasin.

"Because historically indeed the island enter Banjarmasin, somehow finally entered the district of Barito Kuala," he said.

He said, boundary area evaluation is also associated with increased and equitable development and the welfare of society and should be addressed wisely by all.
