Marabahan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Territorial Affair of Barito Kuala Development Planning Board (Bappeda) Munadi said the environmental impact analyses (Amdal) studies for Marabahan-Anjir Pasar- Banjarmasin railway line construction along 81.35 kilometers will be completed in time.
     

"The Marabahan-Anjir Pasar-Banjarmasin railway is the realization of Trans Kalimantan development plans for Palangkaraya-Pulang Pisau-Kapuas-Marabahan-Banjarmasin corridor of about 194 kilometers," said Munadi, in Marabahan, Wednesday (28/9).
   
The Marabahan-Anjir Pasar-Banjarmasin railway line divided into two, namely from the direction of Anjir Pasar to Banjarmasin along the 27.5 kilometer passes the Anjir Pasar, Anjir Muara, Alalak, and Mandastana with the station plan in Anjir Pasar and Handil Bakti, Alalak.
     
Furthermore, the trace from Anjir Pasar towards Marabahan 32 kilometers passes the Sub-district of Anjir Pasar, Wanaraya, Barambai, and Marabahan with the station plan in Anjir Pasar, Wanaraya, and Marabahan.
     
He explained that the road width of 1,435 millimeters railroads, according to the width of the road plan railroads Trans Kalimantan, whereas in Java 1,067 millimeters in width.
     
For a minimum distance between the axles of railways tenement road, he said, four meters and land requirement reaches 40 meters in width.

He said, the axle load of 22.5 tons or greater than the axle load in Java amounted to 15 tons with a maximum speed of trains planned 160 kilometer/hour.
     
The construction of railway lines in the Batola, said Munadi, entirely financed by the state budget funds, including feasibility studies planning, EIA, Detail Engineering Design (DED), land acquisition and the implementation of its construction.
     
Physical construction planned to be started in 2017, he said, where the work begins at the point of land has been acquired (clear and clean) and is expected the train can be operated around the year 2019.
     
Then, he stated, the railway will be connected with other transport especially with Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarbaru, Trisakti Port Banjarmasin, and Regional Terminal kilometer17 in Banjar district.
