Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Mobile Brigade Unit (Satbrimobda) of South Kalimantan Regional Police increased vigilance and alert at the command headquarters and a number of vital objects after a bomb at Surakarta City Police Headquarters in Central Java.
"We increased vigilance and alert, either at the command headquarters and vital objects," said Head of Satbrimobda Kombes Puji Santosa in Banjarbaru Tuesday.
He said, even though no personnel added to keep the command headquarters located at Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 30 Banjarbaru, but vigilant and alert continues. Every day 15 duty officer in charge of keeping the environment of command headquarters.
"Everyone who enters got to be checked by officer on duty, asked what the purpose is. It is all done to anticipate every possibility, including a bomb threat against personnel," he said.
According to him, in addition to increased vigilance at the command headquarters, Satbrimobda personnel also alerted on a number of vital objects, including shopping centers.
Specialized personnel who have expertise defusing explosives deployed at vital objects, such as Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarbaru, Trisakti Port in Banjarmasin, Office Substation (GI) PLN Banjarbaru and a number of shopping centers in Banjarmasin.
"The personnel deployed at airports and seaports to anticipate the possibility for a gathering place for people, and the PLN office to prevent electrical interference," he said.
In addition to placing personnel in the field, a number of personnel are also deployed at the command headquarters and at all times be deploeyd to help for security and recovery.
"The personnel deployed at the command headquarters and ready to be deployed at any time by 2 units of company rank (SSK) or 200 people," said the middle-ranking officers.
