Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tanah Bumbu Narcotics Unit Police nabbed a local citizen of Chinese descent who was red-handed selling crystal methamphetamine (sabu-sabu).
"When the perpetrator selling crystal meth to a buyer, we seized him along with the evidence," said Chief of Tanah Bumbu Narcotics unit Police AKP Suryanthi SH in Banjarmasin on Friday.
She said the perpetrator was Chinese descent, and he was also a convict who had twice entered the prison for the same case. His name Freddy Kristanto (42), resident of Jl Raya Transmigrasi, Hamlet III, Suka Damai Village, Mentewe subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu.
Freddy was arrested with a pack of sabu-sabu. When the police developed into his house, the found two other packages ready to distribute.
"Total evidence we have secured are three packages with a weight of 5.9 grams," said AKP Suryanthi.
She said, the offender is currently undergoing examination in order to reveal where the illicit goods came from.
He was named as a suspect and was arrested and charged under Article 112 of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics.
