Banjaramsin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the Banjarmasin Transportation, Communications, and Information Agency Kasman said online service for parking complaints immediately opened.
"Online services on parking complaint will be immediately opened, while the enactment of new regulations on parking rates," he said here on Sunday.
According to him, local regulation (Perda) No. 8 of 2011 concerning parking fees have been revised. Parking rates will be increased from Rp1,000 for two-wheeled vehicles to Rp2,000 and for four-wheeled vehicles from Rp2,000 to Rp4,000.
"If any parking spot violates the provisions do report through our online site. We will distribute the site address to the public," he said.
Online service is made, Kasman said, because of frequent and many of public complaints about arbitrary parking attendant charging parking exceed provision.
"We will keep the identity of reporter, as long as we conduct an investigation regarding the parking attendants violations later," said Kasman.
According to him, if it is proven there is a parking spot that violates the rules, then it will revoke its license, and is it absolutely no dispensation.
According to him, today there are about 321 parking spot in the capital of the province, generally still manually, only a fraction are using a computerized system.
