Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Task Force IX Disaster Management and Land or Forest Fire of Banjarmasin Police ready to handle all forms of natural disasters in the local city.
"This activity is a priority program of the National Police, so it must be implemented properly," said head of the task force Kompol Katwandi here on Friday.
He said, there are some natural disaster programs handled by the Task Force IX, including traffic accident prone on Jalan Ahmad Yani, S Parman, Sutoyo S and Jalan Gubernur Soebarjo.
Then handling flooding or water overflow prone areas. Vulnerable areas such as Basirih, South Banjarmasin, Jalan Pramuka, Pemurus Luar.
It also handling fire-prone land in areas such as rice fields at Mantuil village, urban Kuripan Villages bordering Kebun Bunga Village and in the Sungai Andai, North Banjarmasin.
Task Force IX also has coordinated with the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Banjarmasin.
