Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Police seized dozens boxes of liquor in Ujung Pandang Restaurant in a joint raid of Operasi Pekat.


"Dozens boxes of liquor were stored in a warehouse within the restaurant," said Deputy Chief of Sabhara Police AKP Ismet Wahyudi here on Thursday.

He said the raid was carried out on Wednesday (21/10) night around 08.00 until 23.00. The target of operation were thugs, commercial sex workers, brokers, drunks, liquor sellers, street singers, children glue sniffers and sharp weapons.

Ismet kept saying the raid was first performed at the Antasari Center Market for thugs, bullying, commercial sex workers and others.

But it had no result, the raid continued to Jalan Kolonel Sugiono and police found Ujung Pandang restaurants selling liquor of various brands.

Of the arrests, police seized 48 boxes or hundreds bottles of liquor then brought to the Banjarmasin City Police headquarters for legal proceedings.
