Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Pertamina Region VI Kalimantan operates at least 84 gas stations along the strategic path in South Kalimantan to anticipate and meet the needs of the community during the Eid holiday during H-3 and H+3.


Of the 84 gas station, ten of which are open 24 hours continuously. While other filling stations operate 24 hours in a scheduled basis.

"Pertamina formed a task force to monitor the 2015 Lebaran fuel and non-fuel distribution to the public," said External Relations Senior Supervisor Pertamina Marketing Operation Region VI Kalimantan Andar Titi Lestari, after an iftar at the company's office in Banjarmasin, Wednesday (8/7).

Gas stations in South Kalimantan that will operate 24 hours are 12 in Banjarmasin, Barito Kuala (3), Balangan (3), Tabalong (7), South Hulu Sungai (3), Central Hulu Sungai (6), Tapin (3), North Hulu Sungai (3), Banjar (12), Banjarbaru (9), Tanah Laut (8), Kotabaru (5) and Tanah Bumbu (10).

Meanwhile, an average of 3 kg LPG normal requirement per day in South Kalimantan reaches 53,071 canisters becomes 59,861 canisters during Ramadan and Eid 1436 Hijra. As for 12 kg LPG from 3,330 canisters becomes 4,246 canisters. So do  bright gas from 568 into 664 canisters per day.

And premium diesel fuel needs in Kalimantan during Ramadan and Eid is not expected to increase significantly, namely 6,095 kiloliters of premium and 2,250 kiloliters of diesel per day, according to historical data from 2013 to 2014.

However, Pertamina still do anticipate by allocating additional supply 5-10 percent of normal needs in the event of the unexpected surge in demand.
