PT Adaro Energy, Tbk received the Top Corporate Social Responsibility of The Year 2021 award on Thursday (August 19, 2021).
The award was bestowed on Adaro for its commitment in carrying out social responsibility in all fields, including education, health, environment, and social culture through the Adaro Turn On Change (Adaro Nyalakan Perubahan) platform.
Especially during the pandemic, Adaro keeps focusing on helping the government and the community in tackling COVID-19.
Through the Adaro Berjuang Untuk Indonesia (Adaro Struggle for Indonesia) program, various types of assistance, such as ambulances, PPE, ventilators, to the latest assistance oxygen concentrator were distributed to remote areas of Indonesia.
CSR Division Head of PT. Adaro Energy, Tbk Okty Damayanti said that Adaro will always support the government, community, and health workers in the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Through the Adaro Berjuang Untuk Indonesia program, Adaro wants to send a message that the government, community, and health workers should not feel alone, Adaro is always here to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic," she said.
Of the total 300 companies, only 100 received the award as the Top Corporate Social Responsibility of The Year 2021, one of which is PT Adaro Energy, Tbk.
Top Corporate Social Responsibility of The Year 2021, is a prestigious appreciation and recognition given by TRAS N CO Indonesia in collaboration with INFOBRAND.ID, for the dedication of companies in Indonesia in carrying out CSR actions as a sense of corporate responsibility towards social and environment based on the aspect of assessment of CSR Concept, CSR Impact & CSR Donation Value.
As stated by Director of INFO BRAND GROUP Susilowati Ningsih “This award is given to companies that consistently implement CSR program in their business world as an effort to balance the environment, society, and companies in order to achieve sustainable economic development.”.
