Balangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - PT Adaro Indonesia agreed to fund Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Balangan by Rp15.7 billion.


CSR Manager of PT Adaro Indonesia Idham Kurniawan in Paringin on Friday said that although there was a decrease in the allocation of funds by 11 percent, but the company's contribution will continue to be a major concern.

"In 2014 the CSR budget allocation for Balangan range about Rp17 billion, and in 2015 it decreased 11 percent to Rp15.7 billion," he said.

He explained that when the coal industry are faced with difficult conditions, forcing most businesses closed down and swerved, PT Adaro remains allocated Rp15.7 billion CSR for Balangan.

Difficult conditions made the company revise the development of the production area, mapping the potential of the area and the design of the proposed program will be conducted on the basis of the level of ability of the company, said Idham.

He details the allocation of funds in 2015 in Balangan will be directed to the sectors of the economy, education, health, social, cultural, environmental as well as monitoring and evaluation.
