Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Most people in Kalimantan began to migrate to using Pertamax after subsidized fuel prices hike in November 2014.


Supervisor Senior External Relations Marketing Unit VI Kalimantan Pertamina Andar Titi Lestari on Tuesday acknowledged that it is a sweet impact of fuel price hike. It makes people of Kalimantan switching to non-subsidized Oil, namely Pertamax Plus, Pertamax and Pertamina Dex.

"Petramax 2014 Sales increased 13 percent compared to 2013, while pertamax plus increased 29 percent from last year," Andar said in a press release.

According to Andar, Pertamina products bombastic gains is  Pertamina Dex, it realization of sales until December 14, 2014 reached 1,991 percent with sales of 3,730 kl compared to sales in 2013 amounted to 187 kl.

Instead of waiting in line, consumers who accustomed to buying premium or diesel fuel start buying pertamax series or Pertamina Dex. Average daily sales of Pertamax Series before the fuel price hike was 110 kl, now increases to 143 kl (until December 14, 2014), or as a whole has increased by 30 percent.
