20 Kg Gold Robbed in Banjarmasin

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - An estimated 20 Kg of gold robbed from Arafat Gold Shop in Kalindo Market, Belitung, Banjarmasin. 

It was revealed by Abdul Hamid, brother of a gold shop owner. "I do not know how much gold is missing, but I estimate over 20 kg," he said on Saturday. 

He said that his brother had told about how much gold he has last year, which is 4.2 polished gold weighing 12 Kg, 700 weighing 7 kg gold and 99 gold weighing 5 Kg. 

"It was as he said to me, do not know that now, my brother not tell story yet," he admits. 

Hamid said, gold merchandise in the store was nearly exhausted drained by robbers. Fortunately white gold remained. "Though it is an expensive," he said. 

He said his brother H Abdul Gamal survived the threat, because at the time of attack he was not in the store. But the his brother's wife, Umi Kalsum, was shot by robbers now in critical condition in the ICU. 

"As for who died is Umm Hani, the twin sister of my brother's wife. They both in the store at the time. According to the story, the robber slammed her head against the wall," he said. 

Another victim, Amad Abdillah, his brother's wife's brother, was shot. Then Irfansyah, a parking lot at his brother's shop area. 

"As for the other fatalities are Salimin, trader in front of the store," said Hamid.
