"Speedboat" For School Exams

Amuntai, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Education Agency provides a speedboat for 13 elementary schools in the remote Paminggir Subdistrict to facilitate exam materials distribution.

Head of Elementary Education of HSU Education Agency  Lailatur Raudah here on Tuesday said that during the three days of the Schools Examination (US), 19-21 May, teachers in remote areas back and forth take material  and drove about Computer Answer Sheet (LJK) to the agency in Amuntai.

"We did not want to risk exam materials coming late, then students will also be late working their exam, whereas the time limit was specified, " said Lailatur Raudah .

Speedboat provided for remote schools were rented from residents in the subdistrict of Danau Panggang for the implementation of the exam.

"This speedboat particular provide for schools in Paminggir alone , and there is budget available for the distribution of exam , so that we can provide transportation to remote areas," she said.

A total of 113 students in seven primary schools and 43 students in six Madrasyah Tsanawaiyah (MTs) received special attention from the Public Education Office of HSU Education Agency for smooth implementation of the school exam in view of their remote areas can only be reached by river transport.

Although means of road linking the city to Paminggir currently available, but the path can not be fully utilized for it has not paved./e
