Mom Allegedly Kill Her Own Child

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A mother suspected of stress due to an illness that does not go away, eventually determined to kill her own child.

The murder was thought to occur on Saturday (8/3) afternoon around 16:00. It was just the two of them at home, while her husband went to the market to work. From information in the field , the child as young as eight years was killed in the bathroom with dozens of injuries in the stomach and neck.

After killing her son, the mother stab her self with knife into her stomach to the intestines out and cut the veins on the left wrist.

The mothers is a 45 year old and her own child is only eight years and is still sitting in class 2 elementary school. They live in North Banjarmasin.

Victims and perpetrators had been rushed to hospital by her husband who came about half an hour after the incident. He together with residents brought the dying mother and child to hospital Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin.

Residents reported the insident to North Banjarmasin City Police Sector (Polsekta) and the case is directly handled. While the offender undergoing medical treatment.

Chief of North Banjarmasin City Police Sector, AKP H Fahmi Anshori confirmed the incident and the current murder case was handled.

Motive for murder until now could not be known because the perpetrator is still undergoing medical treatment as a result of dying of attempted suicide. But from the statements of the witnesses, who have been questioned, the perpetrator allegedly experiencing stress due to her cancer illness never healed despite having undergone several surgeries.

"The first step, we will conduct an examination of the witnesses, especially the husband, grandfather and the first residents at the scene," he said.
