Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan Antaranews) - Over August 2012 to July 2013 the High Court of South Kalimantan handled and executed 17 cases of corruption and special criminal.
     
Chief of South Kalimantan Prosecutor AR Nashruddien here  on Tuesday said that from completing the number of such cases, the prosecutor was able to save more than Rp868 million.
     
"I pay tribute to the prosecuters, particularly in handling of corruption cases from investigation, examining to prosecution," said Nashruddien.
     
Responding the crisis of confidence in law enforcement, Nashruddien said this was due to increased cases of KKN (collusion, corruption, nepotism) and human rights violations that have not been completed.
     
While the number of cases that have been resolved investigation in period of August 2012 to July 2013 as many as 32 ​​of the 34 cases, so the remaining 2 cases are still under treatment.
     
While the other case, in the field of religion, based on the monitoring of PAKEM team, cult that developed in the community. Three active cult are the Ahmadiyya (Banjarmasin), Mandi Tajeli (Banjarbaru) and LDII (Banjarmasin) and one is passive ie Nur Muhammad (Kandangan).
