The remains of Indonesia's third president BJ Habibie will be entombed next to his wife, Ainun Habibie, in the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in Jakarta Thursday. "We have coordinated with the garrison and there is a cemetery slot prepared for him next to Ainun Habibie's. If I remember correctly, they are slots number 120 and 121," said Minister of State Secretary Pratikno at a press conference held in the ministry's building in Jakarta, Wednesday evening.

The burial will be held on Thursday and President Joko Widodo is scheduled to lead the ceremony, he stated.
The former president passed away at 6.05 p.m. Wednesday, at the age of 83 in the Army Hospital RSPAD Gatot Subroto where he was being treated since September 1.
President Jokowi paid close attention to Habibie's health while he was receiving treatment in the hospital, by visiting him and providing a team of presidential doctors to monitor his progress.
Habibie's wife, Hasri Ainun Habibie passed away in 2010, at a hospital in Germany. Their romance captured the hearts of many Indonesians, especially after it was made into several movies titled 'Habibie & Ainun'.
