The District Military Command (Kodim) of 1003 Kandangan held a shooting contest for the fourth time at the Shooting Field in Madang Village, Padang Batung Sub-district.
The 1003 Kandangan Military Commander (Dandim) Lt. Col. Infantry Suhardi Aji Sriwijayanto in Madang, Thursday (13/6), said the shooting competition is to build synergy between the components of the community.
"We hope all the components of the community will participate and intentionally we hold this event in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr, so it is at once as halal bihalal among all components of society," he said.
HSS Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad said he highly appreciated this positive activity as a form of TNI's closeness with the local government and local people.
He said he was happy because at the competition all the various components of the community were gathered, all together in a halal bihalal atmosphere with a unique and different format.
According to him, if all had been united like this in the development process would be nothing to worry about, especially with the conducive in the HSS District.
Forkopimda, vertical agencies, state-owned company (BUMN) and local government-owned company (BUMD), ranks of SKPD (government agencies), entrepreneurs, community and youth organizations, Perbakin, community leaders, religious leaders, journalists and the general public took part in the competition.
