Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 21/8 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Two prospective haj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation, South Kalimantan, were declared died in the Holy Land of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

According to Head of Haj and Umrah Management South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry H Raihan Ridho here on Monday, the two pilgrims were from the flying group (Kloter) 3 came from Central Hulu Sungai (HST).

From the information of haj officers, he said, the two were Surita Hartini binti Masran (48) and Thantawi bin Derjat (73).

Although still awaiting the official announcement of the Computerized System and Integrated Hajj Information (Siskohat) of Indonesian Haj Management Committee (PPIH) Working Area of Mecca, he stated this information is valid or trustworthy.

"Information from the officer of kloter 03 Embarkation Banjarmasin said one died yesterday (Sunday, 20/8) and the other today (Monday, 21/8)," he said.

According to Raihan, the families of the two pilgrims who have died know it, because the women who died departed with her husband and the man left with his wife.

"So the two spouses each have conveyed to family in here, we are also very condolence for the death of these two pilgrims, but all must be sincere accept it," said Raihan.

So far, he added, 14 Kloter from Banjarmasin Embarkation have been dispatched to the Holy Land of Makkah, especially for pilgrims from South Kalimantan as many as 2914 prospective haj pilgrims.
